Celebrating a Tuesday Night at Park Avenue Summer, J. Crew Bridal, and Lacoste

The city is back in full swing! Last night, at the new Park Avenue Summer, I dined on Mediterranean Bronzino and the well-known Chocolate Cube, which was to die for. I took my friend Michelle along who is a comedian and recently entered Oprah’s new search for the OWN television network.

Last night I also attended the opening event for the J. Crew bridal boutique on Madison Avenue. What a collection! Holding its own surrounded by some of the crème de la crème in bridal wear, J. Crew’s bridal boutique at 769 Madison Ave. put its own modern-day stamp on what 21st century wedding designs can be. I bumped into Robert Verdi at the event. Naturally, he was one of the main attractions of the party. I love the way he is always so lively and full of creative new ideas.

But dinner and one boutique opening were not the curtain call of the evening. I also swung by the Lacoste store on Fifth Avenue. The brand co-hosted a fete, along with the USA Network and Vanity Fair, to celebrate the second season of Royal Pains. Not only was the cast outfitted in pieces from various signature crocodile collections, but each guest was given a gift card of $50 to spend at the store. It was a Hampton-themed soiree and the perfect end to a Tuesday night in the city.
