Carlos Miele, the CFDA and Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

News | June 22, 2010

We still have a few months to go before Breast Cancer Awareness month, but that didn’t stop one of our favorite Brazilian designers from contributing to the cause. Carlos Miele, who shows his sexy and colorful collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, has paired with the CFDA to support Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. He designed two limited edition silk scarves inspired by the FTBC’s logo, and a portion of the proceeds from the $125 accessories will go toward supporting breast cancer research, education, and patient care in the United States and Brazil.

Miele will celebrate the introduction of these chic scarves with a Brazilian themed party hosted by Vogue and the CFDA tomorrow evening. The scarves, which are a flirty interpretation of the FTBC logo, will be sold at Miele’s New York store. We can’t think of a better way to support a significant cause and add a little Brazilian flair to your summer wardrobe.
