Marcus Samuelsson, the recently crowned Top Chef Masters Winner in the second installment of the Bravo culinary competition is headed home to Chicago to host a BBQ Bootcamp with fellow executive chef Nicole Pederson, and pastry chef Toni Roberts. Following in the footsteps of season 1 winner Rick Bayless, Samuelsson is the second restaurateur to rep Chicago by winning the hit show.
Samuelsson and the C-House Fish and Chops team are hosting the second annual open-air grilling competition on June 26-27. Located on the 29th floor of scenic rooftop lounge C-View, guests will be treated to a cocktail reception, lessons in North Carolina, Texas and Tennessee style barbecue, and smoky savories prepared by the chefs themselves. Once the grilling is complete, guests can bask in the sun and mingle with the chefs for an intimate post-show meet & greet session while indulging in more of the freshly grilled BBQ fare.
Seating is extremely limited and early-purchase is highly recommended.
