PROPERTY Celebrates 10 Years of Design

PROPERTY, a chic home furnishings showroom in Soho, opened to the public yesterday with an exhibit commemorating 10 Years of Design. Showcasing American and European designs, the store, owned by Sabrina Schilcher, has been a mainstay for the trendsetting elite over the past decade.

A VIP Preview hosted by Waris Ahluwalia, Peter Davis and Lucy Sykes late last week was well attended. Organized by Susan Shin and Nick Dietz, guests included Lady Liliana Cavendish, Christiane Celle, Genevieve Jones,  Nicole Miller, Carlos Mota, Nick, Raynes, Euan Rellie, Richie Rich, Sabrina Schilcher, Mimi So, Carlos Souza, Gigi Stone, Antoine Verglas and Chessy Wilson.

The exhibit, curated by Jason Paulson, is laid out in ten design vignettes, each representing a specific year from 2000 – 2010. Incorporating works by design superstars such as Alvar Aalto, Patricia Urquiola, Tom Dixon, Norman Foster, Ferruccio Laviani, the exhibit is simply a must attend show this month for design aficionados.
