Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison Opened in London

News | May 27, 2010

Marc Jacobs invited numerous celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle MacPherson, and Daisy Lowe; to come celebrate his new flagship boutique for Louis Vuitton located on New Bond Street Maison in London, as well as to model his Autumn 2010 collection. The boutique boasts three stories and was designed by Peter Marino; it could be considered the most luxurious Louis Vuitton store worldwide.

Along with lavish decor and spaciousness, mannequins with handbags adorned on their heads are posted throughout the store, which offers a unique combination of clothing choices, as well as a Bag Bar, where customers can sit, while they peruse the selection of handbags.

The elaborate design doesn’t end there because the store also combines sleek wood finishing with a glass staircase accented with LEDs. Customers can also look up and see an assortment of classic Vuitton trunks floating in the air, suspended by wire cables. Although the store officially opens May 28, attendees enjoyed an exciting evening that only a host like Marc Jacobs could offer.
