Kosher is Cool at Prime KO

News | May 11, 2010

A Japanese steakhouse and sushi restaurant that even the most stringent Kosher-keeper can enjoy? But of course. After all, this is New York, the city that is known to satisfy any whim imaginable. So why not sushi and steak that is not off limits based on religious considerations?

Prime KO opened last week to the delight of foodies everywhere. What makes this Japanese sushi and steakhouse different from all the others? The fact that it is making Kosher cool. So how cool, you may ask? Cool enough for the likes of Jamie-Lynn Sigler to attend its opening night last Tuesday, where I had the chance to chat with her. She looked fab in her white and pastel dress from Armani Exchange.

Shocking, I know, but there are only a handful of kosher restaurants in the entire city, so I am predicting that the popularity of Prime KO will be more than just a passing trend. Look for it, and all of its celebrity fans, at 217 West 85th St.
