Elie Saab Boutique to Open on Fashion Avenue in the Dubai Mall

Dubai’s prestigious high-end store Boutique 1 recently announced a joint venture with Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab. The store is scheduled to open next month on Fashion Avenue, the premier shopping haven for fashionistas and luxury brands in the Dubai Mall.

The 250 square meter store will be the third standalone Elie Saab boutique worldwide and will open with the Spring and Summer 2010 collection on display. Saab has designed of gowns for celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Eva Longoria many of which will be featured at the new boutique.

Elie Saab has been designing evening wear for women for the past 25 years. He opened his first boutique in Beirut at the age of 18 and had his first show at the Casino du Liban and has risen in fame ever since.

But the big question is: Will Elie Saab attend the opening? A launch is scheduled for September and Dubai fashionistas sincerely hope to meet the acclaimed designer in person.
