Bay Area Discovery Museum Presents Playdate 2010
The Bay Area Discovery Museum hosted its 6th annual fundraiser, Playdate 2010, which is the museum’s largest fundraiser. Guests indulged in cocktails and appetizers as they bid on amazing items during the silent auction.
There was a delicious dinner prepared by Paula LeDuc, while a select few won live auction packages including backstage tickets to American Idol and a luxury suite for the upcoming U2 concert.
Attendees capped off the night dancing to music provided by The Sun Kings, as they sampled mini red velvet cupcakes and salted chocolate tartlets from the assortment of sweets available from the dessert buffet. The event raised an astounding $437,000 benefiting the Museum’s mission of developing creativity among children in the Bay Area.
