Another Mother’s Day Brunch Idea

News | May 6, 2010

Well, if you’ve waited this long to make your Mother’s Day plans, we might peg you as a procrastinator, because even high-powered CEOs would have had their personal assistants put something together by now.

Fortunately for you, Gia at the Eden Roc is taking reservations for a brunch that will be filled with fresh fruit, whipped cream, maple syrup…and lots of chocolate chips, sprinkles, gummy bears with a cherry on top. Wait, read that again, because that sounds somewhat off course from what the James Beard Foundation might classify as gourmet. That’s because the folks over at the Eden Roc are letting the kids don the toques for the morning, at least when it comes to pancake toppings.

For bites that are a bit more adult, the menu lineup includes the usual Miami brunch suspects like fresh pastries, an iced shrimp and claw bar, omelet bar, and small plates including Churassco on Potato and Lobster Hash, Ropa Vieja Eggs Benedict.

Prices are $40.00 per person and $16.00 for children (5 and under are complimentary). For reservations, call 305.674.5594 or visit opentable.com.
