2010 Graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony

The School of Fashion at Academy of Art University in San Francisco welcomed an exclusive group of guests to partake in their 2010 Graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony where graduating students in various design areas of study debuted their collections.

Prior to the thrilling fashion show, President of Academy of Art University, Dr. Elisa Stephens, presented an Honorary Doctorate to fashion icon, Suzy Menkes as well as a luncheon in her honor.

Using her vast knowledge in the fashion industry including her current post as fashion editor of International Herald Tribune, Menkes lectured and answered questions during her visit with Fashion Journalism students.

Just as they do each year, the university invited special guests who have made a significant impact in the world of fashion to meet with students as well as select interns from all areas of study. Some of the honorees for the event included Julie Chaiken, Keanan Duffty, Patrik Ervell, Elisa Palomino, Dirk Van Saene, among others.
