The Premiere of Paper Man

News | April 6, 2010

The Cinema Society hosted the premiere of Paper Man at the Crosby Street Hotel in NYC on Monday, April 5. The film depicts the life of a middle-aged writer played by Jeff Daniels, who has already written one failed novel and suffers writer’s block during his second attempt. He then decides to move to Long Island where he is constantly badgered by his childhood imaginary friend, Ryan Reynolds, during which he meets and befriends a 17 year-old-girl, Emma Stone.

Many celebrities were in attendance for the joyous event including Mike Myers, Beth Stern, Carolyn Murphy, Hope Davis, and Alan Cumming. The intimate setting allowed guests to converse among the exclusive crowd as well as enjoy cocktails and an elegant evening.
