The 2010 Museum Dance

News | April 14, 2010

Our New York Society Editor Rachel Heller just reported in with an event that she will be attending tomorrow night along with many other upscale New Yorkers who define what it means to be haute. What better way to celebrate tax day than with a swanky soiree at the American Museum of Natural History for the 2010 Museum Dance? And with a “Spring Safari” theme, there are sure to be some incredible displays.

When the leadership chairs of an event include last names like Kushner, Mortimer, Fanjul Pfeifler, and Wohl, and the sponsor is luxury label Lilly Pulitzer, we are expecting an over-the-top fete deserving of a myriad of media mentions.

Official details indicate that the event will kick off with cocktails in the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda, followed by dinner in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, wrapped up with dessert and dancing for all in the Akeley Hall of African Mammals.

  • Cocktails and dinner from 7:00 to 9 pm
  • Dessert and dancing from 9 pm to midnight

Leadership Chairs: Fabiola Beracasa, Dana Wallach Jones and Michael T.M. Jones, Ivanka Kushner, Tinsley Mercer Mortimer, Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler, Zibby and Andrew Right, Coco Rocha, and Arden Wohl

If you have yet to send in your RSVP, no worries because Rachel will be on the scene and reporting back on what went on behind the velvet ropes.
