Platinum, Flowers and Petite Dejeuner on Madison Avenue

Spring has officially sprung on Manhattan’s avenue of ultimate luxury. Platinum Jewels in Bloom launched yesterday at 32 stores along Madison Avenue and will continue with festive events and philanthropic shopping until April 17th.

Begin your platinum and flower tour at Bar Seine, a charming and cozy spot nestled in the Hotel Plaza Athénée on 64th street. A vision of refined elegance and etiquette, Bar Seine offers flaky croissants, piping hot coffee from a silver urn, and fresh linen that will start your morning stroll just right.

Proceed to Madison Avenue to enjoy window and store displays featuring delightful pairings of fresh cut local flowers and the finest jewelry of the season. The ten-day flower show includes 32 stores between 57th and 86th streets. Graff, Cartier, David Yurman, Chanel and Chopard are among the participating boutiques and will also be hosting private sale events throughout the event.

A portion of sales during the 10-day show will be contributed to the Central Park Conservancy’s 30th Anniversary and its Playground Partners. On April 10th, join Playground Partners as they sponsor a bulb drive at the participating jewelry boutiques. Bulbs can be purchased for $1, perfect to purchase for auntie or grammy as mother’s day is right around the corner. Playground Partners maintains Central Park’s 21 playgrounds.
