Piaget Emperador Temple Diamonds Watch

News | April 21, 2010

For over 130 years, Piaget has made a name for itself as both an exceptional watchmaker as well as jeweler. Piaget uses innovation, precision, and creativity to craft the most extravagant pieces. For 2010, Piaget has introduced the Emperador Temple Diamonds Watch, a timepiece that blends both the art of jewelry and watchmaking.

Sold for $3.5 million, the Emperador Temple Diamonds Watch boasts over 1,200 dazzling diamonds. The extraordinary piece displays precise craftsmanship, true to it’s name. The pyramid style temple design opens up not once, but twice, to reveal two different watches. The first watch is uncovered with a hatch, over a smaller mother-of-pearl and diamond face. The second watch opens up to unveil l a larger face with an exposed one-minute tourbillon and power reserve indicator.

Although there was only one model crafted, Piaget is said to accept commission requests for pieces like it.
