Honey Shine Celebrates in Style

News | April 7, 2010

The Honey Shine Mentoring Program welcomed guests to an informational and innovative event that included special Acro yoga and a jewelry redesign demonstration on March 23, 2010. The program focuses on offering support and guidance to young girls across South Florida.

Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club played host to the member recruitment and member appreciation event organized by the program’s founder, Tracy Wilson Mourning as well as sponsor Ada Adams, a Honey Shine Double Platinum Member.

Guests in attendance included Green Monkey, Miami’s first balanced living company, who executed an exhibition on how to achieve greater harmony by balancing body, mind, and spirit through Acro yoga. Jennifer Bain Getz, renowned jeweler, demonstrated how to give older jewelry a “face lift” through redesign techniques. The overall event was a tremendous success as Honey Shine Mentoring Program welcomed 28 new members.

“Honey Shine is lucky to have such strong supporters across South Florida, these women are the building blocks of our program and we wouldn’t be able to help so many girls without them,” says Tracy Wilson Mourning.
