News | April 20, 2010

This Friday, April 23, EPIC Hotel will host the continually popular EPIC Wine Hour Presents series with the featured event “Art of Sustainability.” Hotel guests will gather on the 16th floor at the hotel’s world-renowned Area 31 restaurant where they will enjoy recommended eating and dining tips from Executive Chef John Critchley. He will advise guests with proper places to purchase organic fish and produce while demonstrating his talents by preparing his exclusive TRU Earth Martini.

Art aficionados will enjoy intimate talks and demonstrations by leading experts within a wide expansion of art genres during the interactive event.

The evening fete, which follows the 40th celebration of Earth Day, will help to celebrate the hotel’s recently awarded Green Seal certification. The achievement recognizes EPIC’s true dedication towards environmental care and responsibility by awarding it with validation in regards to following the company’s Earth Care program of more than 80 environmentally responsible operational practices.

Everyone knows that Area 31 received one of the top media mentions when it was named one of the Best New Restaurants of 2009 in Esquire, so make sure to take advantage of all the treats they’ll have in store at this Friday night event, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.
