Clinton at LIV Nightclub for Fundraiser

News | April 14, 2010

President Barack Obama isn’t the only political figure to raise awareness, and funds, in Miami this week. Following Obama’s fundraiser with Gloria Estefan on Thursday night, former President Bill Clinton will be descending upon our southern shores as well, at Miami’s own LIV nightclub. But Clinton won’t be here to just party, he’ll be joining Pharrell Williams and the band N.E.R.D on April 16 to raise money for the William J. Clinton Foundation. The foundation focuses on worldwide issues that call for immediate action and developmental solutions. Centering on such hot topics as global climate change, HIV/AIDS, child obesity, and economic opportunities, the organization strives to make a positive impact on the lives of people all around the world. The event will go from 8 to 11 p.m. and the former prez himself will offer remarks; a special performance will be held by N.E.R.D. Tickets can be purchased starting at $150.
