Cancer Research Institute Young Philanthropists Host Benefit

News | April 1, 2010

Saks Fifth Avenue welcomed guests to partake in a festive celebration that included cocktails, philanthropy, and a night of fashion as The Cancer Research Institute Young Philanthropists hosted an event benefiting cancer research. The Young Philanthropists is an organization comprised of young professionals ages 21 to 40 who strive to improve cancer research through charity, both with their time and resources.

Open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction were some of the perks for attending. Guests also caught a glimpse into some of the latest Spring fashions adorned by models while enjoying the musical concoctions of DJ Josh Madden. Those in attendance competed for the night’s grand prize that included an exclusive style session with celebrity stylist, Lauren Rae Levy, as well as a Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree. All proceeds from this beautiful benefit went to the various research programs of the Cancer Research Institute; the programs look to advance cancer-fighting techniques.
