All About Me Premieres at Henry Miller Theatre

News | April 1, 2010

Henry Miller theatre in Manhattan hosted the amusing and astounding All About Me musical on March 18. The premiere attracted several well-known names such as LuAnn de Lesseps, Barbara Walters, Elvis Costello, among others. The extravagant performance was accentuated perfectly by the grandiose theatre where guests enjoyed performances by the show’s stars, Michael Feinstein and Dame Edna Everage (a.k.a. Australian comedian Barry Humphries).

The playful plot pits both stars against one another, as both believe they’re headlining a solo show and madness thus ensues. As the performance continues both characters eventually make up and thrill audiences with duets and joint skits.

A band provided foot-tapping music for support, as guests were enthused throughout the night by Feinstein’s musical abilities and Humphries’ comical wit. By the end, the show and its performers garnered thunderous applause by the thoroughly entertained audience.
