2010 Trend Report

The positive feedback that I received from both celebrity and lower-profile clients encouraged me to expand from the watches and incorporate the octagonal shape throughout a classic jewelry collection. In 2010, you will see Haimov necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, pendants, and chains that carry the authentic and original look that is exclusive to the Haimov brand.

In the previous issue, I mentioned that I would be celebrating the grand opening of my new boutique. I am proud to announce that we swung open our downtown doors with great success on the Thursday night before the Super Bowl. Several VIP celebrities were in attendance to help us cut the ribbon, including NFL great Jerome Bettis and Dancing with the Stars celebrity Karina Smirnoff. The opening of this boutique is a lifelong dream of mine realized. It marks my shift from working only on the wholesale side of the industry to a full-fledged venture into retail.

After spending more than 10 years perfecting the diamond wholesale business, this grand opening means that the exclusive men’s and women’s collection of diamond jewelry and watches is now available to anyone in the market for high-end luxury pieces. I have filled the new boutique with items that are perfectly on point with what the style-makers will be searching for in the coming months. Miami has long been my home, and this location will serve as the flagship as we prepare to launch many more showrooms across the U.S.
