Oscar Week in LA: There’s Always a Party

Online entertainment news source TheWrap.com threw a pre-Oscar bash for some of the nominees while offering up an exclusive preview of Culina Restaurant, the newly minted go to spot at the Four Seasons.

Editor in Chief Sharon Waxman held court with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Actors Morgan Freeman, Robert Duvall, Jenna Dewan, Jason Statham, Vinnie Jones, Adrien Brody, and Ryan Seacrest were all in attendance, Some of the men behind the scenes (and the lens) like Lawrence Bender, Bill Mechanic, Ryan Kavanaugh, Jon Landau, Scott Cooper, Chris Weitz, and Brett Ratner, were also in attendance.  Even Councilman Bobby Shriver and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa stopped by to join in the celebration.

While mingling, mixing, and trying out the latest dishes from the new restaurant, celebs signed a magnum sized gold Moet Chandon bottle that will be auctioned off to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to the Special Olympics Haiti Fund.

Unfortunately, the Golden Girl of the Moment Kathryn Bigelow did not show, but with the big weekend ahead, we understand that the girl needs her beauty sleep.
