New York-Tehran Opens Our Eyes

The Leila Taghinia-Milani Heller Gallery will be featurng Iranian artists March 5 to April 1, 2010. From 6 to 8 p.m., 39 East 78th St. at Madison Ave. will house 40 of the most well-known and aspiring Iranian artists living in various parts of the world. This will be a premier event for fine art enthusiasts as a large portion of these works have never made their way to the U.S. before now. Through paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, installation, and video painting, Tehran New York will explore synergies and differences among the work of Iranian artists living in Iran and the U.S.
