Ireland, Cagle, and Shepard To Host Official Oscar Pre-Show

The 82^nd Annual Academy Awards will kick off on Sunday, and Kathy Ireland (who recently sat down for a one-on-one with Haute Living), Jess Cagle, and Sherri Shepard will host the official show before the show. This will be Ireland’s and Shepard’s first time hosting the pre-show and Cagle’s second consecutive year as a host.

Cagle became the managing editor of Entertainment Weekly in 2009. He is the former executive producer of Time. Throughout his career, Cagle has interviewed some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.

Ireland is currently chief designer of Kathy Ireland Worldwide. The company devotes its time and energy to designing home and office furniture, bedding, jewelry, apparel, skincare products, and more. Over the years the model turned business mogul has become one of the most influential women in the world of home and apparel design.

Shepard is a comedian turned actor turned talk show host. She currently serves as a co-host of ABC’s The View, and she stars in her own Lifetime comedy series Sherri.

Oscars Red Carpet 2010 is produced by Jeff Margolis, and the show will air on the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m., immediately preceding the Oscar telecast.
