W Hotel’s Global Glam Collection

Earlier this month, we brought you news that the W hotel brand hired Amanda Ross as its first fashion director, and is now well poised to becoming its own fashion house within its design-forward lodging spaces. In each hotel, a boutique carries unique pieces that are designed exclusively for the W. The latest Global Glam collection showcases apparel and accessories from designers such as Rebecca Minkoff, Dannijo, Deepa Gurnani, Dolce Vita, Yumi Kim, Suzanna Dai, and Wink.

Last night in the Living Room at the W Times Square, Rebecca Minkoff showed off her new line of Morning After handbags and clutches. Limited edition pieces inspired by the brand’s worldwide properties are designed with New York, Barcelona, and Hollywood in mind. The theme for the Big Apple is urban jungle; the handbag comes in a chic purple animal print. And the old glamour of Hollywood never looses its charm with black and white fur setting the tone for the star-studded town. Speaking of Hollywood, Minkoff’s bags have graced the arms of more than just a few starlets of Tinseltown, including Lindsay Lohan, Bijou Phillips, and Rachel Bilson just to name a few.
