The World’s Most Expensive Wedding Cake
Your wedding day is meant to be one of the most memorable days of your life. What better way to commemorate your union of love than by throwing an extravagant bash to celebrate, with the world’s most expensive wedding cake? Created by Dallas bakery, Delicious Cakes, in collaboration with the Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange, this extraordinary delicacy is decorated with sapphires and 1,200 carats of diamonds. Talk about kicking your nuptial celebration up a notch! The sparkling confection weighs about 160 pounds and is estimated to be worth $1.3 million. It’s also covered in silver ‘luster’ dust icing. This particular cake shown above arrived in an armored car to the market hall to the Dallas Bridal Show, and was escorted by security guards. It can serve up to 320 guests at $3,125 per slice.
