The Jeremy Scott After-Party
All week long we’ve been taking readers inside the after-parties where the stylistas and moguls have been hanging after the Fashion Week runway shows. Always on the forefront of where the scene is taking place, we can tell you that designer Jeremy Scott’s party last night at Good Units at the Hudson Hotel was where the hipsters were showing their support for celebrity acts like Estelle and Santigold, and beverage sponsor Belvedere. Estelle actually showed her support for Scott earlier in the day when her new lyrics “I can be a freak, every day of every week,” opened his show. While commonly considered to be a bit on the wild side in his designs, for Fall, he chose to demonstrate a more subdued side. Throughout his career, Scott has outfitted the likes of Madonna, Rihanna, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Victoria Beckham, Gwen Stefani, and Agyness Deyn. He silhouetted Brittany Spears for her video of “Toxic,” and by all accounts, did not disappoint with his Fall 2010 collection.
