The Celebs Celebrate The Grand Opening of Butter NC

In the latest issue of Haute Living New York, we go behind the velvet ropes with some of the city’s most well known power players of New York City nightlife, including Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva. On Friday night, Feb. 19, the dynamic duo celebrated the grand opning weekend of Butter NC, the newest outpost of their wildly successful original locale in NYC. You can probably guess from the name that Butter NC is located somewhere in the natural beauty of the tobacco state, and your guess would be correct. Butter NC is Charlotte’s newest bi-level club at the North Carolina Music Factory.

Some of our favorite famous faces made the trek south to show their support for the nightlife moguls. Everyone got a turn on the mic for the grand opening celebration weekend, including DJ Jus Ske and Nicky Hilton on Friday night. The following night, after the Black Eyed Peas performed at the Time Warner Cable Arena, they hit the post-show party at Butter NC, where Will.i.am reportedly took over the turntables, joined by Fergie, Taboo, and Apl.de.Ap.

Sartiano and Akiva’s 8,300-square-foot North Carolina club is their first out-of-state expansion project and was designed by Francois Frossard whose fingerprints can be found on South Beach’s Mansion and Prive in Las Vegas.
