Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief event is right around the corner and this year, you can expect to see funds skyrocket like never before. Campbell’s fashion and fundraising event takes place February 12 at 7 p.m. underneath the tents at Bryant Park for fabulous Fashion Week.
This year, the funds raised will be directly donated with the help of CARE to help rebuild Haitian health care systems, particularly for mothers and their children. All American Express Card members have a chance to purchase their tickets before the general public to ensure their attendance and much appreciated contributions starting February 5 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices start at just $100, a minuscule price to pay for such a large-scale, problematic issue. This year’s fashion show will be hosted by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and will feature internationally recognized designers, celebrities, and fabulous other VIPs.
Fashion For Relief was established four years ago, with the first event raising more than $1 million for Hurricane Katrina victims. Past supporters and attendees include Beyonce, Tyson Beckford, Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, and many others. This year’s event is sure to be just as successful as all previous events have been, and Campbell’s heartfelt efforts will surely be tremendously praised. Fashion For Relief Haiti NYC 2010 will be produced by Keven Krier & Associates and styled by Rachel Zoe. So be sure to come out for this spectacular, Fashion Week evening for an even more spectacular cause.
