Real Estate Industry Supports Andrew Cuomo
As Andrew Cuomo prepares to run for governor, The Times reports that the real estate industry has so far been his top donor. Some contributors include the likes of Tishman Speyer, Boymelgreen, Ratner, and Swig, which some say are a controversial conflict of interest for the candidate. His office has reportedly been flooded with complaints from angry buyers against developers. “Any suggestion that members of the real estate industry exert improper influence over this office’s real estate finance unit is laughable and belied by the facts,” said a Cuomo spokesman.
