Everyone in the fashion industry (and anyone who’s seen The Devil Wears Prada) knows that one nod of approval from Anna Wintour can send your career soaring to unimaginable heights. Prabal Gurung, the newest “it” designer to cuddle up under the security of Wintour’s wing, is realizing just how wonderful life can be with the support of names like Wintour, Winfrey, Demi Moore, Barbara Bush, and Avatar star, Zoe Saldana. This year was his runway debut, and after the famous faces exited their front-row seats, fans made it over to Kenmare to dish about his designs. Doormen opened up the velvet ropes and bartenders poured Belvedere cocktails for guests like Brad Goreski, Annabelle Vartanian, Dahlia Oberlander, Kenmare owners Paul Sevigny and Nur Khan, Paper’s Mickey Boardman, Louise Roe, and stylist Tina Laekkonen.
