What started off as a method to draw attention to NBC’s new web site now looks like a publicity mainstay at the media corp. Instead of putting David Chang in a street cart downtown as they did last April, rumor has it they will now have chef restaurateur and former Haute Living cover subject, Daniel Boulud, hijack a food truck and make random stops around the city.
This is all in part to draw attention to NBC’s new restaurant site. The promotional geniuses (not) at NBC are planning to have the culinary master make various unannounced stops around the city with a guaranteed stop in Midtown.
Boulud is a chef-owner of ten award-winning restaurants and the Feast & Fêtes catering company. Hailing from France, he is best known for his restaurant, Daniel, in New York City.
