Vanessa Paradis Puckers Up For New Chanel Lipstick Campaign

Put away the lip gloss, girls. It’s time we go back to the classic elegance that is lipstick. Just ask French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis who recently lent her stunning face to Chanel’s new hydrating cream lipstick campaign, Rouge COCO de CHANEL.

As the face of the campaign, Paradis exudes modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion as she promotes the lipstick collection set to debut in March. Each man-getting shade will retail for $30 at fine locales including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Chanel.com.

Paradis, who has been dating Johnny Depp for the past 11 years, previously lent her looks to the fashion house in 1992 (for the Coco fragrance) and again in 2003 (for the Cambon handbags). The campaign photos were made by Mert and Marcus and the television clip, directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, features Paradis applying lipstick in front of a mirror while whistling the song “Daydream” by ’60s band The Lovin’ Spoonful. Oh la la!
