The New Year Continues to Bloom with $10 Million Dollar Deals

News | January 6, 2010

The only big New Year’s deal wasn’t just Robert Ziff’s $10 million purchase at the Trump International Hotel and Tower at 1 Central Park West. This week, we heard of two other deals that beat the $10 million mark, one at 25 Central Park West and another at 1133 Fifth Avenue. The property at 25 Central Park West is a penthouse unit listed by Stribling & Associates’ Cathy Taub, and closed at $10.05 million, about $1.5 million under the asking price. 1133 Fifth Avenue, which was sold by Eva Weinstein, movie studio chairman Harvey Weinstein‘s ex wife, was bought by Chelsea Piers president Tom Bernstein for about $3 million less than its original asking price.
