The Glass House

Remember the movie, The Glass House? Well, Santambrogiomilao Group decided to actually take this concept and step it up a notch, creating a real home out of glass. So if you’re a bit clumsy, this home is not quite right for you. Otherwise, you might find this fascinatingly innovative home made from the fragile material to be exactly the residence you’re looking for. Besides having an obvious appreciation for an all glass space, you must also be willing to give up all conceivable privacy, as the unique home is made specifically from ‘extraclear’ glass. Once you get accustomed to the lack of privacy, you can enjoy the view of the world on a 360 degree axis. The glass home is a collaboration between founder Carlo Santambrogio and designer Ennio Arosio, featuring a series of iconic furniture pieces, beds, sofas and bookcases, along with architectural elements such as staircases and kitchens. With such a modern and out of the ordinary concept, this glass home is definitely a class in its own. Kind of looks like it’s made of ice, doesn’t it?
