Scott Conant’s New Spot Getting Buzz
Scott Conant’s team still hasn’t revealed the name of their new Italian restaurant in the former Table 8 space at the Cooper Square Hotel. However, it’s not stopping them from getting the ball rolling. The windows of the restaurant were papered over for the last week. “Physical renovations begin today at the new restaurant. It’s on now. Forgot how nice it was to work with the sounds of hammers and saws,” tweeted Scarpetta GM Jeffrey Tascarella. It’s definitely “on now,” if they plan on opening “in the coming weeks.”
