Napa Wine Experiences for Auction

News | January 10, 2010

Spending a weekend at the Napa Valley estate and with celebrated winemakers are just two of the lots being offered in advance of Forever Young, The Young School’s eleventh annual benefit fundraiser that will be held on Feb. 6 at Quintessa in Rutherford, CA.Attendees can expect silent and live auctions, with some items being offered in advance.

One lot includes a chance to spend a day with vintner Ehren Jordan, who specializes in both of French–style Pinot Noirs, Syrahs from Failla Wines, Zinfandels, and Petit Syrahs from Turley Wine Cellars. A day with him includes shuttling between Turley and Failla via his Cessna 340. The experience includes a blending session and being his co-pilotwhich. The Opening bid? $5,000.

Another lot is called the Bottle Shock Experience and takes a total of nine couples away for three nights on January 28-31 at a Napa Valley estate that includes a spa, pool, and gym. With a private screening of the movie Bottle Shock with the movie’s producers followed by a wine tasting experience, this is one lot not to be missed. Bids start at $9,000.
