Marriott-Ritz Carlton Lights Up L.A. Skyline

News | January 14, 2010

The 54-story Marriott-Ritz Carlton tower finally opened last night, as the L.A. skyline was instantly lit up at night in the city’s newest high-rise with the tower’s lights. The owners of the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott tower set up the lights on the top 27 levels to flick on floor by floor in a rising wave to celebrate the hotel’s completion and unveiling.  Estimated to have cost about $100,000, the amazing light display was a huge success, and definitely the best way to celebrate the reveal of the $2.5 billion tower.
