Madonna Models for Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana‘s newest Spring/Summer 2010 campaign starring a busty Madonna has been released. In the ads, the queen of reinvention plays an Italian housewife. “There are many Italian symbols in the images, ones the whole world recognizes and identifies with,” says Gabbana, as he points to the cross Madge is wearing around her neck, as well as the brass bed, which is a norm in Sicilian homes. They also wanted to use food imagery for the new campaign. “It’s healthy and sensual,” says Gabbana. “They say there’s a connection between food and sex.”
