Luxury Townhouse In Foreclosure

News | January 14, 2010

The previous home of abstract painter Judith Rothschild located at 1110 Park Avenue hit the rental market last September asking for $18,000. The 3,000-square-foot house is now in foreclosure. According to PropertyShark, it will hit the auction block on February 4 with a lien of $17 million. Hypo Real Estate, the German bank that may be about to wreak more havoc on NYC’s market, will be the plaintiff. These types of situations are usually worked out before it goes to auction, but obviously in this case, there seemed to be irreconcilable differences.
