Ebisu Sushi to Open Third Location in San Francisco

News | January 8, 2010

One of the most popular sushi spots in San Francisco is planning to open a third location in mid-February in the city’s financial district.

For those of you that love sushi and live in San Francisco, you’re probably familiar with Ebisu, and will be delighted to hear that there will soon be a new spot where you can get you sushi fixes.

The new financial district location will be the third outpost for Ebisu, who also have a full-service restaurant in the Inner Sunset and a quick service location at the San Francisco International Airport.

The San Francisco Business Times is reporting that Ebisu’s owner, Steve Fugii, had been “looking for a downtown location for many years before settling on the former Tasty Express site on Keamy Street between Pine and Bush streets.”

Construction has already started on the site which should be open to the public in a month or so.

In May 2009, the Ebisu location on 9th Avenue reopened after a $1 million renovation.
