News | January 2, 2010

The Burj Tower in Dubai, also known as the world’s tallest freestanding building, is opening its doors on Monday, but the very anticipated Armani developments remain off limits.

The tower will contain nine hotels and several luxury shops and apartments, which includes the Armani Residences and the Armani hotel. Its residences are beautifully decorated and furnished by Armani Casa, but won’t be open until February.

The skyscraper is expected to be the home to 12,000 people, as the building will have over a staggering 160 stories, soaring to 2,683 feet and having the world’s longest elevator shaft.
