Worth Avenue Opens New Doors

News | December 3, 2009

A couple of new shops opened  their doors on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue, a street known for its high-end retail and glamorous shoppers, sparking hopes that the avenue may be rebounding from a tough year.

Struggling to survive the economic downturn may be a thing of the past for some, but not everyone is in the clear yet and new high-end retail faces are certainly welcome on one of Palm Beach’s most luxurious shopping streets, Worth Avenue.

COURAGE.b, a woman’s apparel and accessories store, and D. Dream Atelier, a designer jewelry salon have just opened their doors on Worth Avenue to the relief of many looking for a retail comeback on the street.

President of the Worth Avenue Association, Sherry Frankel, has praised the new high-end arrivals, noting it is a great thing to see after several shops had to be shut down over the past year. The new shops which opened occupy storefronts that have been vacant for several months. As high season hits Florida, it is certainly no wonder that those involved in Worth Avenue’s success are  breathing a sigh of relief at the news.
