Two-Sided Watch Causes Double Take

News | December 29, 2009

Jaeger LeCoultre‘s Reverso is one of finest and most classy timepieces out there. Sporting not one, but two faces, each of the Reverso’s sides has a different face design, each showing its own time. The internal manually wound mechanical movement powers both faces simultaneously. All you have to do is flip the watch around to get another side. (The picture above shows both sides next to each other, but when you wear it, you only see one side). The dark gray face has two time zones, with the lower dial showing the time in a 24-hour format. The other face shows off the classic Reverso look with the square dial and subsidiary seconds dial. Measuring just 9.5 mm in thickness, the watch is available in both gold and steel with sapphire crystals. Straps are available in metal or a brown alligator strap. How much for this two-sided phenomenon? Prices range from $6,000-$9,000.
