Prince Alwaleed Still Richest Arab

News | December 21, 2009

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud has retained his top ranking as the world’s 50 wealthiest Arabs on the 2009 Arabian Business Rich List. The Saudi finance and banking nobleman mended some of the losses he suffered last year, allowing his net worth to rise from $17.08bn (€11.92bn) in 2008 to nearly $18bn, nearly doubling the net worth of the second-richest Arab with $9.7bn, Saudi’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Issa Al Jabber, a travel and hospitality big shot.
