Update: High Society Shows up for a Night of Holiday Cheer

News | December 20, 2009

While the stress of holiday shopping can instill a sense of panic in some, for those social butterflies in the audience, we know that the true joy of the season comes from the many exclusive holiday invites that fill up our calendars.

Francois-Henry Bennahmias extended one such invitation for the evening of December 10. The president and CEO of Audemars Piguet so kindly invited Haute Living to be amongst its guests of luxury-lovers to celebrate the holiday season at the Audemars Piguet boutique on East 57th Street.

The spotlight of the evening shown brightly on Michelin three-star mixologist Brian Van Flandern, who recently authored the artistically photographed book, Vintage Cocktails, by Assouline Press. In addition to the three-star recognition, Van Flandern has also earned nods from celebrichefs like Thomas Keller, Mario Batali, and Michel Richard. Publisher Prosper Assouline, who has worked with such revered fashion houses as Chanel and Ralph Lauren, as well as in the publishing world with the likes of Lee Radziwill, stopped by to extend holiday wishes, alongside his wife and publishing partner, Martine.

Check out our images from the evening of gourmet holiday cheer, including shots of Van Flandern wearing our one of our favorite timepieces, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak at our events page.
