Haute Estate: Michael Strahan’s Tribeca Home Listed for $1.875 million

Former New York Giants defensive end, Michael Strahan, has just listed his beautiful Manhattan loft located in the Tribeca neighborhood for $1.875 million.

He may no longer be defending the field for the New York Giants, but football star Michael Strahan is playing a new game: the real estate market. The 38-year-old whose current job as a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday keeps him in the action without being on the field is looking for a new owner for his 1,911-sqaure-foot condo in Tribeca.

When Strahan isn’t analyzing football, he’s starring on the Fox sitcom, “Brothers.” Strahan has listed his one bedroom condo which features a home office and two bathrooms for $1.875 million, a surprisingly reasonable New York City price. The loft has 15-foot ceilings and sandblasted brick walls and is located in a converted pre-World War II commercial building. Building amenities include a full-time doorman, a gym, and a kids’ playroom.

The former New York Giant purchased the apartment in August of 2008, however has hardly used the condo due to his television schedule over in Los Angeles. Strahan also owns homes in Texas and California.

Strahan holds the NFL record for sacks in a single season and played an impressive 15 season with the giants before deciding to retire in 2007.
