Edra Blixseth Jewelry Goes to Auction

Former owner of the Yellowstone Club, Edra Blixseth, will be saying good bye to 50 pieces of her fine jewelry as The Estate Jewelry Collection auctions off the Coachella Valley philanthropist’s prized jewels.

Coachella Valley philanthropist, Edra Blixseth, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March following her divorce from ex-husband Tim Blixseth. Now, perhaps in an attempt to cash in at a crucial time, The Estate Jewelry Collection will be auctioning off 50 pieces of Blixseth’s fine jewelry.

The sale will take place at the El Paseo shop and will include a magnificent and rare pieces such as a 44.3-carat tanzanite pendant set in 18 karat white gold with 107 round brilliant cut diamonds weight approximately 1.25 carats. Tanzanite is an extremely rare blue-purple variety of gemstone only found in north Tanzania.

Also up for sale, a beautiful pair of diamond earrings which are made of platinum and 22-karat yellow gold and a seed pearl necklace with a 14-karat gold dragon clasp with emerald eyes and an impressive 91 single-cut diamonds to boot.

All interested bidders are required to register at the store with a credit card or other bank security to receive an anonymous bidding number to for use bidding on any of the luxurious pieces.

The auction will terminate December 21 at 4pm and minimum bids for the action range from as low as $120 to $3,800 for the tanzanite pendant.
