Rolling Greens Goes Hollywood

Rolling Greens, Los Angeles’s most unique live plant nursery, is expanding its business and opening a fabulous new second location at the historic Town Tire Co. building in the Hollywood area.

Located at Beverly Boulevard and the corner of, appropriately, Gardner Avenue, the second Rolling Greens location will provide customers with even more of Rolling Greens diverse assortment of plants, containers, pottery, gifts, table linens, plates, candles, bed and bath items, vintage accessories, and planted arrangements done at The Arrangement Bar where Rolling Greens “baristas” help to create beautiful assortments for customers.

Set to be opening this November, the new Rolling Greens store will be located in the 5,455-square-foot Town Tire Co. building which was built in 1930. The historic structure used to be a grocery store before becoming the Town Tire Co. building in 1963. While Rolling Greens will be taking over the celebrated building, they will be keeping the original rustic character of exposed brick and wood beamed ceilings.

Rolling Greens was founded in the mid-1970s and began as a nursery on wheels. In 1982 the business grew so large that they were forced to move their business into a permanent location on a hilltop over Culver City. Rolling Greens then quickly established itself as the area’s essential destination for LA’s top landscape architects and garden and interior designers before opening its doors to the general public in 2006.
