Nicolas Cage’s Condo SOLD

News | October 7, 2009

Whether it was his star-power or the allure of the award deserving view, Nicolas Cage is one celebrity that did not have to wait for the market to pick up in order to sell his home.  After listing his New York City condo back in July with Cordelia Robb of Brown Harris Stevens, within four months it has sold.  His Fifth Avenue condo has gone into contract at the initial listing price of $9.75 million.

Located in the Olympic Tower, which was built in 1975, Cage’s residence was originally two separate units.  Purchased in 2004 and 2005 for a total of  $5.5 million, the Oscar-winning actor renovated the units to form a five-room, 3,550-square-foot, three-bedroom, three and a half bath living space.  The 48th-floor apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows offers an incredible view of the Empire State Building and the Hudson River.

Cage has bought, and been able to sell, many homes in many different locations.  Among them are San Francisco, New Orleans, Bath, England and now, New York City.
