Forbes Billionaire List Includes Facebook CEO
The young entrepreneur rightfully regained his spot on the list after being removed earlier this year.
Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of the social-networking phenomenon, Facebook, has achieved a lot… especially considering he is only now 25-years-old. Facebook, created by Zuckerberg when he was 20, has launched him to billionaire status. In fact, Forbes has listed the young entrepreneur’s worth at $2 billion. That is a $500 million growth in about 6 months.
Back in March, Forbes removed Zuckerberg from the billionaire list because the magazine apparently lost faith in Facebook and cut its estimated value. Since then, the website has reached accounted for over 400 million users worldwide and gained new investors. A Russian investment firm whose primary backers include a Russian oligarch, invested in the privately owned and operated, Facebook Inc. a few months ago. Now, Zuckerberg is not only back on the list, but worth even more. No wonder the Harvard graduate is all smiles.
